Dwayne has been the lead pastor of Wellspring Church since 2007. He planted it in Charlotte, NC. He also serves as the pastor's director for the Acts 29 Network. As well as pastoring Dwayne is passionate about training the future generation of biblical counselors. He is a member of the board for Biblical Counseling. He is the writer of many online pieces and is a co-author in Christ Centered Biblical Counseling Changing Lives by God's Changeless Word (eds. Kelleman, Viars). Dwayne was married to Leslie. The couple has three children.
