Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25 in 1970) is an American actress, best recognized for her role as the role of detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter respectively on NBC's Providence drama and The Resident's medical drama The Resident. The actress also won acclaim for her breakthrough television debut as Eleni Andros Cooper in the CBS soap series Guiding Light. 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians The Lightning Thief and Snitch were amongst her film credits. According according to reports, she's working with Vlas and Charley Parlapanides, who co-wrote Immortals on an adaptation to Elisabeth Kubler Ross' autobiography The Wheel of Life. The actress is currently filming an upcoming TV series called Gods & Heroes.
